Governors
Grange Park Junior School's Governing Body meet regularly and works closely with the school to ensure pupils are provided with a high quality of education in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment.
Governors have the following key roles:
- To ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
- To hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff
- To oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent

Governance Arrangements
The 'Instrument of Government' sets out how the governing board of a maintained school is constituted and for Grange Park Junior School this is as follows:

2 x Partnership Governors
The Full Governing Body meet 5 times per year. Every Governor is also a member of at least one of our two main committees which meet at least termly.
Committees
Premises & Resources - which looks at personnel, finance and premises.
Achievement - which looks at the standard of teaching and monitors data on attainment and achievement and listens and responds to the views of all stakeholders.
The governing board also has a Pay Committee which meets once a year to consider pay awards for staff and at other times when necessary.
